Double down on that Wow and raise you another Wow. I hope writing this did as much for you as it did for me as a reader, writer, leaver, and explorer. I love the writing style and the points. I love the flow and engagement of this piece. It's a keeper and one to read again and again.

Thank you so much, kindred spirit! Writing this in one day was an intense experience, it definitely did a lot for me--I'm very grateful to hear that it did something for you too. I wonder if you ever feel tension between your explorer self and your leaver self? Have you written about this?

Yes, have been thinking about being a leaver in this context: My journey has been a float down a long river with many eddies. Fast, slow, stagnant, and nourishing eddies. Eddies that called me in or spit me out. Missed and avoided eddies. Eddies of joyous clarity. Eddies i dwelled at too long or left to soon.
